The second attempt of flying across English Channel using a hoverboard- Flyboard Air

The jet powered hoverboard named as Flyboard Air is trying fly in this week end. The last fly was failed, but this time the inventor hopes to fly successfuly, where the path lies across English channel. Franky Zapata is going to try out this time, for a 20 minutes flying time. According to the Associated Press , via France24 is reporting that the destination of the flight is Sangatte, France to St. Margaret’s Bay in England.

The flying route still remains same as the last failure flight. But they have done a considerable change to the flight this time. That is the refuelling station has changed. The reason behind this decision is to avoid the crashes, similar to last time. The refuelling is compulsory activity should be performed at the right time with the right destination. It is because the Flyboard Air does not contain sufficient fuel for a 20 minutes flight, because its capacity is to store fuel sufficient for 10 minutes flight.  The last flight was failed at refuelling stage, as the platform was just missed by few inches. And it tumbled out of the path. The creating team has made a solution to overcome this issue by having larger boat, located at French water to refuel. The team was unable to perform this previously because the French marine authority has not given any permission to do so.

If this mission was fruitful, Zapata will consider as the first person who cross the English channel, by using a hoverboard powered by jet. There is a world record gained by a freshman in 2016, as world’s longest hoverboard flight along southern coast of France.

I started Stunnerzz because I wanted a place to write about the things I actually think about — not the things an editorial calendar told me to. I've been following technology since 2008, spent way too many hours reading automotive forums, and have a habit of planning road trips that are slightly too ambitious.By day I Digital Statergist for a Top Conglomerate and run Seradigihub, a digital agency, which means I spend a lot of time thinking about how the web works. This site is where I write about what I find interesting — which, it turns out, is a lot.
